What I'm focused on right now in my life and work

Where I am

I’m still in Tbilisi, Georgia. After two years of survival mode I finally have stability, and I noticed something strange. Routine tasks feel unmotivated now. For a while I read that as a problem with stability. Then I found a better framing. I’m simply in the gap between missions. Looking back at what I made during this so-called low period, the output was substantial.

I restructured my weeks around day themes again: work days, chore and self-care days, one day for research and writing, one day for rest. It holds.

Art

I’m planning my most technical piece yet, a volume collage animated by light. Four independent zones of warm LED light, dimmed by a microcontroller, with a slow randomized drift moving a hot spot around, so the shadows travel across the collage like clouds. The parts are picked but not ordered yet.

A trip to an art fair in Muscat in late October is on the maybe list.

Research

I’ve been reading papers on narrative analysis and AI detection, StoryScope and NARRABENCH, and I built a 30-feature taxonomy of my own writing style across eight dimensions.

I adopted Readwise Reader for papers and connected it to Claude.

This digital garden and writing

I’m redesigning the visual language of this site. My aesthetic reference is the Toni canvas bag by Remember. Warm cream ground, muted pastels, one bright accent, a small tucked brand mark. Each post gets its own social preview card, a unique minimalistic SVG image drawn by hand.

After the redesign I’ll get back to writing. I have many new posts and even more ideas to share.

Marketing technologist

Client work continues with site migrations to Astro, technical SEO, and analytics fixes. I confirmed something about myself this month. I prefer well-defined, fixed-scope projects over open-ended retainers, unless there’s real ongoing ownership.

My own projects are growing too. The taxonomy I built from StoryScope and NARRABENCH grew into a voice fingerprint analysis, and I named it Voicebloom. Writers who co-write with AI slowly lose their voice, and I build a fingerprint of what makes their writing theirs, so they can keep it. I tested the method on my own garden posts first, and now I’m shaping it into an offer for personal blogs.

GoodINP is still in its sales-first phase, and I’m dreaming about where Voicebloom and GoodINP income could take me. The current dream has a Bosphorus view.
